Palm pilots' I may actually be able to help with (USB side). It is very limited help but help none the less. This works with jpilot. first be sure : chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB* then: ln -sf /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/pilot now if that doesn't work change the '0' to a '1 then '2' then (etc) until it does work. Now then, for the infrared you just need to find out what they use to mean infrared and put it where 'USB' is. Also, first Press sync on jpilot then the sync on the cradle. Hope that helps On Saturday 22 November 2003 08:55 am, Mark Phillips said: ~ I have a Debian system running on a Latitide c610 and I would like to ~ hotsync my IBM WorkPad c505 with both USB and Infrared. The WorkPad c505 ~ is the same as the Palm m505c. It has a USB cradle. I can hotsync from ~ Windows 2000 (the computer is a dual boot machine).
