I guess it is time for me to mention again. That sometime ago I was going to start MC GLUG. Maricopa County GNU/Linux User Group. That would meet downtown regularly. There were several people interested and I got permission from work to use all the facilities I needed. However, there have been some major changes internally at my place of employment, including the removal of our vastly Microsoft biased Chief Information Officer. There may be some huge doors opening soon in which ~ case not only could MC GLUG exist, but actually thrive with full support (not just permission) from my employer. So I am calling for people to email me at derek@gnue.org if they would be interested in attending meetings downtown (4th Ave & Jefferson) during lunch time hours (or early evening hours). I will compile a list and contact people back when things are in place. [Note: This could include a full training agenda not just user group hang out type of meetings] - -Derek Neighbors -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/t5/ZHb99+vQX/88RAj6SAKCkoQ2B5hvIxPg6E7S3MmwNklKYZwCeNvKX LxeFi1n2tfdLTns/TXw3xrA= =Biql -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
