United Linux is an attempt to standardize linux. SuSe, Connectiva, TurboLinux and IBM are all behind United Linux. A development version of United Linux can be requesteed and downloaded for free from http://www.unitedlinux.com I've been playing with it for a while though I am still a newbie to linux myself. My instructor at school asked me to check it out, so I've got it running at home. > > From: "Kevin Brown" > Date: 2003/11/07 Fri PM 04:57:25 EST > To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > Subject: Re: United Linux? > > Vaughn Treude wrote: > > > Hello again, > > I recall someone saying a few days ago that he was working on a system > > running United Linux.
