Can't tell you that it has been years, but I can tell you its been a
long long time.  I wholeheartedly recommend ClarkConnect Linux Firewall
distro to you though, when you make the jump to HSI.  If only for the
dynamic DNS you can setup through their system, you can always point
your family to

http://yourname.pointclark.net:8080  

That is, once you register it.
