I used gtkam for sometime with a Kodak. It worked great, but was a GUI application and was kind of slow. When I switched to a different vendor, GTKam didn't work any longer. So I decided to just mount the camera as a scsi device. All I can say is WOW! This is how it should be. :) I _strongly_ suggest if you are looking for command line stuff to just mount your camera a scsi device. -Derek Nathan England said: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > > What is a good program to use for viewing usb cameras? > > Any with good command line options? > > > - -- > > Nathan England > > nathan at the-arcanum.org > jabber id: linuxjunkie@jabber.earth.li > > "A free society is one where it is safe to be unpopular." > - --Adlai Stevenson > > > Registered Linux User #189789, Machine #106603 > www.sincerechoice.org > > > Todays Fortune: > > No man in the world has more courage than the man who can stop after > eating one peanut. > -- Channing Pollock > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) > > iD8DBQE/nYTqnIZkEnRTrK0RAujeAJ9llTbEa6H0YqGlDANyNX0Mye4H4ACcCW8k > u6upypVe41XcGklMrvuE+RI=TXdj > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
