Alan wrote I have successfully installed Linux on two iPAQ units recently. I suppose = ;^)=20 George can put me down as a installer for the iPAQ. However, we will need to make some advanced preparation. Please document t= he=20 unit model you have and all accessories. Also, we will need a host compute= r=20 to use to load the boot loader into the iPAQ and for other possible needs. = =20 Go ahead and document it here so people can follow along. At the present time, if you want to be able to sychronize your iPAQ=20 applications with a desktop, I would choose the Opie palmtop environment as= =20 the other environments do not have sychronization established yet. Alan Frank writes OK I looked up Opie and it looks great to me. As for my Ipaq I have model 3765 with no accesories just the USB cradle and power supply. I do have a serial cable for the 3800 model that I bought by mistake from FRY's then I quickly lost the receipt(I was in the process of moving) So if anyone wants it let me know I want 0$ for it. Its of no value to me. As for a host machine for the boot loader I have a laptop running Debian unstable and a Desktop Dualbooting Suse 8.2pro and Win98se. I live right across the street from UAT so I would have a problem hauling my stuff over there. Anything I missed.
