Install NVIDIA drivers (assuming we have an internet connection)
Installing Guarddog Firewall
-and-
Miscellaneous tools and components (anti-static wristband, tools, jumpers,
some loaner cables, etc)

I'm not sure how all this will fit together but, we will play it by ear.

Do you need any more volunteers? 

I can install Mandrake- currently using Mandrake 9.1 on my box. 

I can also install Knoppix to a harddrive as long as someone doesn't mind it

being all on a / partition.

I can install Slack, too, but may need a little help when it comes to 
configuring a few things (I'm not great with commandline.) 

If someone has an Internet connection I can help them with 
downloading/installing NVIDIA drivers and Guarddog firewall.

I can help newbies learn their way around KDE and such... I'm a good teacher

for non-technical newbies. 

I can also bring anti-static wristband, tools, jumpers, some loaner cables,

etc, if someone needs their hardware adjusted.

I won't bring my box because it's too bloody heavy.

Just let me know how I can help.
