hmmm I don't know for kde. for gnome there is a file in .gnome called
Gnome and I have
[URL Handlers]
http-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
https-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"

gnome2 is different though so maybe kde is as well.
