We were, however, the former Student Activities director kept saying
"No," for some small trivial reasons, and then tried to forget about it
(perhaps for fear of losing a contract with MS?).  We recently got a new
student activities director, however, DeLUG only exists on paper at this
point, we are still looking for people that have a couple of minutes of
free time (and aren't about to graduate, as most of the prospective
members had while the former activities director was still around).  If
AZOTO and PLUG can help us to bring in speakers, presentations, etc. we
could bring this off the paperwork and into the campus.

A couple guys showed up to a PLUG presentation earlier in the year and
announced they were starting a LUG at DeVry. I never heard back from
them,
though, so I don't know if it happened.

I highly encourage starting up something over there.

Contact AZOTO and we'll help if we can. I'm certain PLUG will also help.

Minimally you can setup carpool stuff for PLUG or ASULUG events.

BTW, ASULUG is planning an InstallFest/GameFest and a HackFest. I'm
certain
we'll get more info once they've nailed things down.
