I realize that the WM may have been upgraded, as well. I currently use Sawfish under Debian unstable (Debian package version 1.3-3, Mozilla 1.4-2). Sawfish is configured for click-to-focus, with the "Click-to-focus mode passes the click through to the application" and "Focus on application windows when they first appear" options enabled. Anyway, I started a second X session using fluxbox as the WM, and I didn't experience the keyboard-focus issues with it, so I guess that's a pretty clear indicator that it's a window-manager issue and not an application issue. Anyway, some of the subtle changes to the way Sawfish operates since I upgraded from woody to sid (and from Sawfish 1.0.1) have annoyed me, and I've been thinking more and more about switching to fluxbox. Now, if only I could delete bookmarks (got in the mood to do a little housekeeping the other day)... but that might be because I just copied over my bookmarks.html from my old .mozilla directory when I moved it out of the way and created a new one. :) --=20 Bill Jonas * bill@billjonas.com * http://www.billjonas.com/ "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your front door.
