I am going to assume that at least one of those kernels is valid. Since you removed the oldest one, I am not sure about your situation. You can determine the version information of the files as follows: strings /vmlinuz | grep 2.4 and similarly strings /vmlinuz.old | grep 2.4 (Let me know if there is an easier way.) Using that information, you should be able to determine what course you should take concerning LILO. --=20 Voltage Spike ,,, (. .) --ooO-(_)-Ooo-- --Pk6IbRAofICFmK5e Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/FZpvpNoctRtUIRQRAo9mAJ0fLiyrT+SyD8Nn6oJZVRA0xrLlXACfbpRO 3LuixXdfGOuBe2ijpsUlbto= =LqI/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Pk6IbRAofICFmK5e--
