For those who run multi-user mail servers and qmail, yo can easily 
integrate spamassasin directly into your MTA via qmail-scanner.pl 
available on freshmeat.

My setups is

Qmail -> qmail-scanner.pl (spamasassin -> f-prot ->) -> qmail-local 
delivery

Works rather well.
