MarciaW (who was at July's PLUG meeting) passed along 
a URL to a spot on Dennis Ritchie's website where he 
has posted documents concerning the USL vs. BSDI legal 
matter.  Ritchie states:  "USL, at the time the owner 
of a predecessor of the intellectual property now controlled 
by SCO, sued BSD Incorporated. The University of California 
was added to the suit soon after it began."
