A long time ago I did something so that X wouldn't have access to X. (most of the time this if fine) but now I want to run xcdroast which has to be run as root. So I want to allow root to access X. here is the error I'm getting. Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 Anybody have any idea how to reset this? So that root can run this program? -- Carl Parrish (cparrish@carlparrish.com) http://www.carlparrish.com --- Registered Linux User #295761 http://counter.li.org
