Ok, I started from scratch, installed kernel source 2.4.2-2 installed pcmcia-cs 3.2.1 patched with orinoco-0.13b-patched.diff I then attempted to start pcmcia-cs: result is "PCIC module is not defined in startup options" I checked Sys V Init and pcmcia is set to start up. The only reference to that error message was in web pages that are written in code. I don't read code too well. I'm ignant. Does anyone know what that message means? > OK, start from scratch.
