I have installed libjpeg6b witht he following command.

./configure -enable-static -enable-shared
make
make install

When I run the configure script for kdebase, it says no jpeg6b but sees the 
library. So I have no jpeg support for my desktop at the moment. I do like 
the blue background and all but I would really like to see my wallpapers. 
Can somebody help?
