sounds good to me, and we can even setup a shoutcast link. also, xmms has a 
shoutcast plugin for it, so things should work that way.

that would be nice. I live way out on the west side and getting anywhere from 
here requires excessive effort (or a ride from the room mates).

the chans can be formed within minutes of the time needed (I can act as 
founder if need be). or whoever wants to head the chan can do it that way. 
chans are easy to create in irc. so, when they are needed, they are there. 
otherwise, when not needed, they can disappear until next time. :)
