Then each field-name has the form:
foo:  
# where foo is the field-name proper.  The important detail is non-blank 
printing characters terminated with ':'.

Also each datum has the form

# that is a datum can only be in an environment delimited by ':' followed by 
any amount of whitespace followed by data followed by ','.

A record has the form:

foo0: bar0, foo1: bar1, ... , fooN: barN\n
