9.0 Sets up hotplugging by default. I plan to try it out tonight with my
USB flash drive, but 9.0 installed perfectly on an old PIII box that
8.1, smoothwall and Debian had trouble with.

Isn't package tools for something other than hardware? I haven't needed
to install anything (except Mozilla Calendar) since this is a full
install to play with.
