I keep getting (randomly) the PLUG-discuss Digest emailed from PLUG where the subject line claims "Y" messages but there are only "X" messages included. Case in point, the Subject line claimed "PLUG-discuss digest, Vol 1 #3372 - 17 msgs" but the last message was no 15. Am I missing messages or is the server running NT? 8-) -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-request@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-request@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us] Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2003 6:58 AM To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Subject: PLUG-discuss digest, Vol 1 #3372 - 17 msgs Send PLUG-discuss mailing list submissions to plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to plug-discuss-request@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us You can reach the person managing the list at plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of PLUG-discuss digest..." Be careful about logging in as root to view a file - make really sure that terminal is secure - if you walk away, can someone else press ^C and add something (like a useraccount) for you while you are away? I recommend the sudo route, and will provide a sudoers entry to help you out (yes, that's what I do, even on my home systems).
