-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've done this in a way. firstly, both HD's have to be of siliar size. then you just have to do this: dd if=/dev/hdx of=/dev/hdx(2) its a direct copy. I've done it with a couple of 10 GB monsters a while ago (3 or 4 partitions). everything gets copied and the new drive even booted.
