Get the latest drivers from Nvidia (www.nvidia.com).  Reconfigure X using:

Maybe, maybe not, it depends on what is causing the issues.  Example:  At work 
we have new Dell machines that use the i845 video chipset.  RH8.0 is only 
running X 4.2.0 and so can't use that chipset (4.2.2 has the fix, but won't be 
out till RH8.1).
