Since there has been some discussion here on running Linux on a 386, I thought this quote from one of the Debian lists would be of interest. Quoted from Debian Trivia list: "I've got an old 386 machine that I bought in early 1992 that still runs well. It ran exclusively on linux right from the start, serving as a BBS from mid-1992 until June 29, 1996. Since July of 2000, it's been running Debian linux as my firewall at home." Dennis Kibbe
