Were you at least able to boot up with the rescue disk? Try searching the 
support database. I found that they have a problem with the Promise. Here is

But this problem is that the Promise modules cannot be loaded. You have the 
opposite problem. But maybe the hwinfo command can help you, or search the 
database for other articles.
