While it is used in almost every demo of Linux, very few people know how to use it for productive purposes. This tutorial covers the basics of photo editing using The GIMP, including red eye reduction. The GIMP has been used to edit movies such as Scooby-Doo, Harry Potter, and Stuart Little; it will make short work of your photos. Come and find out how use this powerful and fun program. The presentation can be found at: http://gould.cx/ted/projects/photogimp/ Bio: Ted Gould is a short time resident of the valley graduating from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2000.
