How about LTSP? (Terminal Server) On Thu, Oct 10, 2002 at 01:04:35PM -0800, cliff rogers wrote: Alan, Thanks for the response. I realize now how little I gave as to background. In answer to your questions this is for an assignment I was given which is to provide a computer system to an office with 5 separate workstations 1 for the manager, 1 for the bookkeeper, 2 for the customer service reps, and 1 for a security post at a client entrance. My thoughts were to use a pair of servers for redundancy and backup and 5 thin clients or dumb terminals. I also need an ID card printer/laminator with camera set up and a general use printer for reports and misc. My problem is I have never worked around servers and terminals. Again this is just a school project and I will not be actually setting this up but I am supposed to make it as if I was doing this for real. Thanks for any help and I will look for responses later because I have to go back to work now. C-ya later.
