-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 In my shop I use knoppix daily to retrieve data off crashed windows boxen. I use it to bring up the machines, mount the drive/s, and move data across the network. I'm using it on just about everything from old old 486 laptops (which failed X because only 32 megs of ram, but mc worked) to brand new P4 Dells. I have only seen one machine that didn't like knoppix, and I am blaiming that on lightning. The machine had some serious issues and X kept rebooting, so I used mc. But my overall experience with it has been very nice. I would like to get a copy of the new live cd from slack 8.1, but have not purchased it yet.
