I wrote off getting rebates a while back. Whatever I pay to walk out of the store is pretty much my final price in my mind. I've tried several times to get rebates and have yet to recieve a single one. My favorites involve cutting the UPC off the box. I'd rather keep the box for moving the equipment later since historically my odds of getting the rebate weren't worth the effort of grabbing the scissors or knife.
