Lots can go wrong at Frys, but its nice to be able to go to a local (if it is local) store and pick up a part. I watch the adds for Frys all the time and check it out on the internet. For instance I kept an I out on motherboards and Frys had a combo board and cpu deal for $99.00 A ECS K7S5A board and 1.5 Athlon XP+ cpu. I checked it at Tomshardware and did Google searchs with it and linux, and bought it and I believe my Mandrake likes it! ;-) Mike Voltage Spike wrote: >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >Hash: SHA1 > >On Friday 16 August 2002 01:57 pm, Gary Nichols wrote: > > >>2) NEVER buy anything that has a return sticker on it. >> >> > >On the contrary, I generally look for items with the return sticker.
