just like an ext2 debian system except after the install do the following: 1. tune2fs -j /dev/hd?? (on all your filesystem partitions. adds journal) 2. insure the kernel supports ext3 3. change your /etc/fstab file to reflect ext3 rather than ext2 4. reboot It is that simple.
