I was reading an article the other day about ipv6 trying to bone up on what going on, and was wondering over the following; The author makes statement that with ipv6 we will have enough ip's for everyone to be directly connected to the inet. Stating that masquarading is a "neccessary evil" and will no longer be neccessary. I am wondering what impact this will have on the security of PC's attached to the network at that point. I can just see folks just throwing boxes up thinking there will be no need for a firewall any longer. would anyone like to comment on this? v/r Mike
