The easiest way to install Wine (IMO) is to install Ximian Desktop (ximian.org), and use Red Carpet to install Wine (and anything else that looks interesting). Ximian Desktop is very Windows-like, and Red Carpet is pretty self-explanatory. (But if you are using Debian, I'll bet Derek has an easier way to do this! :)) -Michelle -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us]On Behalf Of Nik Rahimi Sent: Sunday, August 04, 2002 9:17 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Subject: Wine Help I am new to linux and was recently forced to reinstall windows after an unfortunate problem while trying to install WINE. Basically, what I need is someone that would be willing to help me 1 on 1 get it installed and what not or a link to a tutorial for people like me. I am sure this question has been asked before and apologize for what must seem like a waste of your time. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.
