This is an open an free format. It is openoffice/star office. The problem with going to PDF, HTML or text is that you end up losing formatting. I would say if it is for publishing yes certainly it should be in all formats possible, but I think was to 'build' the document. I think this was just a misinformation on the groups part to explain the format. It is not a prop format like .doc. -Derek
