DSL HUB | +---------------+-----------------------+ Public network | | | | | XP1 XP2 XP3 W2K1 Linux1 | Private | +----------+---------+ | | Dual Boot LTS1 Linux2/W2K2 The above is the current config in our soho network. XP1 and XP2 are gamers and 'need' there unique IPs to play. The rest can be on a private network. The problem I have is they also use primarily XP1-3 for there daily work and the programs/data files need to be accessable from XP1-3. The printer that's connected to XP1 needs to be accessable from all except the linux side, where I have another printer. Ideally, I'd like to put them all behind a better firewall and a private network, but that kills the gamers. Ideas? Suggestions? I'm also having some problems configuring the Linux printer to all my other Linux2 access. Using Mandrake Control Center it doesn't list the printer. Implying I don't have my CUPS server running like I thought. I'm using Mandrake 8.1 btw. In the meantime, I'll keep searching. Are there any Moneydance users out there? I was unable to load the rpm correctly, but then I didn't try to hard either. I'd like to use GnuCash, but the investment portion seems to be lacking or I haven't learned enought about it! I'm currently using Quicken. Just wondered if Moneydance was any better. I'm mostly weaned from M$ but there are a few items still. pete
