Problem is the newer the os the less compatable it is with older programs. Win2k and XP are like trying to run win 3.1 programs on win 98. Some work some don't. Shows it age. Windows XP is just now getting straighten out with Nvidia chips, but still has a long way to go with 3D video acceleration. However, XP seems to be the most stable of them all at this point. I run a dual boot system with Win XP in NTFS format and SuSE Linux on the same machine.
