                          question for you guys familiar with gentoo. i 
noticed they sell a SPARC version, but i also noticed this statement:

SPARC CDs for $3.75 USD apiece, and donating 20% of their profits from Gentoo 
sales to the Gentoo Linux project! :) Note that the i686 CD will allow a 
build from scratch for *all* systems, but also has pre-built stuff for i686+ 
CPUs.

the Note states that the i686 will allow a build from scratch on *all* 
systems, does that include the Ultra Sparc II? i want to try gentoo on my 
Ultra 5, because i have to many stability issues with MDK 7.1 corp. server
and i dont like working with Solaris 8. so gentoo sounds like a great 
alternative for bringing new life to an over priced desktop.
