careful... Realplayer was one of the early freely distributed software packages to use embedded spyware. I would be amazed if they took it out for the Linux comunity. Do you really want them repoting to whomever they choose what you listen to and where it resides? I do not. I would promote any opensource project over this. Today I haven't been able to find the linux version of Real's "Real One" (or any real player). Adobe's svg plugin or their acrobat reader. from their website (though I may have found it on their ftp server). If anyone has a moment to check and see if I'm just out of it today and yeah they are easy to find. Or that no they don't have the links easily visable anymore. If the latter I think we need to remind them how many of us there are. I mean in each of these cases I *know* they have a linux version. I just can't find them on their sites. Amd yes the fact that I've gotten them before lends to the theory that I'm losing it, but I can accept that. What I won't accept is if companies are starting to hide their Linux version to software. > > > > **Note** on Real's site I did eventually find a page that asks what version did I want to install (not trival). It even had RH 7.X listed but when I made that selection it just said not available. > > > > Carl P.
