Presenter: Victor Odhner. If you're developing GNU applications in C, C++ or other languages, you need the "make" command to build them consistently. If you want these applications to run on different platforms, such as Linux/x86 and Solaris/Sparc, then you can use Autoconf and Config for automatic installs in these environments. Vic will give some detailed instruction on "make" and a quick summary and example of how to do packaging and installation with Autoconf and Config. _______________________________________________ PLUG-devel mailing list - PLUG-devel@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-devel _______________________________________________ PLUG-announce mailing list - PLUG-announce@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce PLUG Website at http://plug.phoenix.az.us
