But does command line allow you to log in without password authentication?
Try uncommenting these lines in /etc/ssh/ssh_config (client machine)

#   RhostsRSAAuthentication yes
   PubkeyAuthentication yes   <-
   PreferredAuthentications publickey,password <-

You should be able to log in with the public keys this way and not have to 
use passwords.
