Hey Trent,
I don't think you'll be able to build a PPC based
machine. This is the chip architecture used in Macs
and the Macintosh clones didn't take to well. There
may be a few other machines that use the PPC (from IBM
I think). You never hear the term anymore (IBM
compatible) but it's like that. IBM released the
documenation on their PC and other companies could
build their own based on this documentation. If Apple
did this then some other company could supersede them.
