Hi, Carl- I too have had my share of blues with the Cox DNS servers lately. I run a dual boot, and have found that internet access through Windows runs slow, but DHCPCD just calls it quits when the DNS servers are having problems. I did figure out at one point that traffic was being routed through west.cox.net with ip address 68.1.17.7, and I added that to my list of DNS IPs, but without appreciable improvement. I spoke to a friend yesterday who is a Cox Windows user, and he was also complaining about Cox's internet service being extremely slow. Everything seems to be running OK now. Hopefully Cox has fixed their DNS doohickies. I am using a domain name of ph.cox.net with IP addresses 68.2.16.30 68.1.208.30 68.1.17.7 -- Lee Einer http://members.cox.net/appealsman/
