I think this is a good idea. I can't take it on as a project right now but I can show up to present or support as my schedule permits. Schools are one place to connect but there are other possiblities. How about clubs or groups of other flavors, like that CTO group that posted to the list. Lots of places to ask about and shouldn't be to hard to find. My only question along these lines is the purpose of such contact. Are we out to do a recriutment drive? Why? How big do we want to be? We want to spread the "Linux/Open Source/Free Software Gospel" Why? What is the end goal of the effort? Answering that determines what groups to target for presentations.
