I posted and discussed at the last meeting the opportunity we have to do a presentation about PLUG to (as it turns out) two classes of IT students currently learning about Linux. As promised, here are the details: Where: PC/Net classroom at Collins College 1140 S. Priest Dr., Tempe, AZ West side of Priest between Broadway and University When: Thursday, February 21st (this Thursday) Arrive by 5:45pm. Presentation starts at 6:00pm This is NOT a general PLUG meeting but is a chance for us to present to the assembled students. We just need a few of us to give a decent presentation about PLUG. Jim and I will be there and both of us expect to present some information. If you (yes, I mean you) want to help represent PLUG to this audience, please contact me directly. They will reserve 5 parking spaces for us. The room is equiped with a Linux server, a projector and full internet access. If you can't be there but have links to some great presentation materials about Linux in general and PLUG or user's groups in particular, please send the references to me or Jim. Otherwise, anyone is welcome to coordinate with me to come and present in person. I think we could handle one more presenter and then maybe a couple more people for a panel to field questions at the end of the session. Alan
