Ok, First, I would boot into the Linux system. Run 'mount' to see which partitions are being mounted. If Windows was on disk one then that would be /dev/hda and the second disk would be (depending upon how many ide drives total there, including cdrom, cd burner, LS120 drive, Zip drive, etc.) /dev/hdb, /dev/hdc, or /dev/hdd. If the partitions that are mounted are all on hda, then you are probably hosed... however if not then you may be able to configure the boot program to look for the other operating system. It would be helpful to know the operating system and version in order to help further- also which boot loader is being used.
