X-Windows \_ treats numlock, capslock and scroll lock as key modifiers like control, alt \_ and shift. Through clever magic of xrdb resources, you can get NumLock to effectively be disregarded. Look for Netscape.ad and try rolling your own for ignoring the NumLock. David
