I have been in touch with a gentleman who is teaching Linux courses at the Collins College, a private "vocational" type school in Phoenix. He had planned to bring his class to the meeting this Thursday but due to some schedule problems, they will not be there. However (to quote him): "I still want to try and make an arrangement with you to have my students get an opportunity to learn more about the plug and what it can offer. Is there any way that I might be able to invite you and maybe a couple of the members to our school for a presentation on the plug group in Phoenix and let them learn more about what PLUG is and what it can offer them? Let me know what you think and if there is a way that we can still put something together." So, is there any volunteers do be a PLUG rep/presenter to a group of students at Collins College? There is nothing scheduled yet so I will ask it this way: Assuming that your schedule permits, would you be willing to voluteer as a presenter to this class, presenting something as described in his request above? If we can get 4 or 5 willing to do it, at least one should be able to hit the day that would be scheduled. What a deal! PLUG gets handed a pulpit and an audience. Let's use it well. Alan
