If your setting up web and mail servers then I expect you'd be a bit = more security concious, but I had nothing on the machine anyway. I aquired a system with RH6.2 on it, (a = 32mb box)=20 stuck it on blue-yonder
and sure enough it was rooted within 3 days. = (good=20 excuse to move it
over to slakware anyway).
 
Moral being use a modern distro, or = don't be a=20 muppet and leave everything
