Hi Robert, This name server (192.168.3.1) went down about two months ago. As a part of my ongoing battle with Qwest and their crappy VDSL service (which I have localized to my subnet), they have told me to use these IP's for DNS: 206.80.192.1 204.147.80.5 207.108.112.1 204.147.80.1 I know the IP's you listed are returned by the DHCP lease, but they are wrong. They have told me so, but won't fix it. Go figure. Run this script for a while and see if you get any packet loss: while [ 1 ]; do echo `date "+%m-%d-%y %H:%M"` `ping -c60 130.13.163.1 | grep loss | awk '{print $7}'`; done Change the 130.13.163.1 IP to your own first router (lookup using traceroute). If you lose packets, it takes 30 seconds to retransmit, so your online speed will really suck.
