This will be the third one I've = built and I'vre had no problems with the other 2. I've used either 2 = smc1211tx nics or 1 smc and 1 NetGear FA310tx. If I only put 1 nic in the computer boots = fine and I can use it as a samba server for file and printer sharing, = but when I put the 2nd nic in, as I want to use it as a fire wall and = proxy server, it will start the boot process, but it hangs during the = memory check.=20 I think that it is a problem with either the bios settings or the mother = board and not my linux installation since it works fine with 1 nic.
