There is a great tool called Total Recorder that I use. It will not only capture any audio stream, but will compress it into MP3 for you. The downside is that since it's not actually capturing the stream (it records the output of the sound card) if your system starts to get taxed for any reason, you may get skips in the recording. http://www.totalrecorder.com Patrick At 11:15 AM 10/12/01 -0700, you wrote: >If I am listening to some streaming media via Windows Media Player, >how can I capture the stream for later editing/CD burning? > >George >________________________________________________ >See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape to write mail. > >PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us >http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss ------------------------------------------------------------ Patrick Hustis TelTrax Corporation Vice President Information Systems phustis@teltrax.com 480-481-9292 ------------------------------------------------------------
